As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Nurse with over 30 years experience, I’ve worked with children, adults, and families who have experienced trauma and mental illness, addictions, anxiety and depression. In 2002, I moved to the Jersey Shore from Pennsylvania where I raised 3 beautiful children.
While working at Shore Memorial Hospital in the emergency department, I completed my Masters in Social Work at Rutgers University. I have certifications in the treatment of post traumatic stress disorder as well as Prolonged Exposure Therapy and Child Parent Psychotherapy. In addition, I’ve successfully completed the advanced training in the Kazdin Method of Parenting adolescents and children with oppositional, aggressive and antisocial behaviors. Anna Attardi, APN

About me:

Anna is a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Anna graduated with a Masters of Science in Nursing from Wilkes University. Anna interned at the Veterans Affairs outpatient mental health psychiatry clinic for adults and adolescents. She is dedicated to providing evidence-based psychiatric care through an integrative approach. With a background in emergency and critical care, she understands how psychiatric ailments infiltrate every aspect of life. Through holistic assessment and treatment planning, Anna aims to decrease symptoms and improve overall quality of life for every client. Anna provides medication management and psychotherapy for patients struggling with anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, Bipolar disorders, ADHD and more.
